The new Classic line, in 50m but also 43 and 63m, brings forth a renewed style for the historic Mondomarine Shipyard.

"As a starting point and reference, we used the 60m M/Y Sarastar – launched in 2016 – whose exterior design was curated by the Studio. The result was a creative revisiting of this yacht, which translates into a Modern Classic. The yacht is in line with pure Italian tradition, but with an added touch of contemporary flair. Accentuated contrasts between straight and sinuous lines, soft curves and sharp angles; empty and full angles, amounting to a collaboration that is truly balanced, coherent and elegant".

Detailing and engravings both on the aluminium hull and superstructure of this 50m yacht create a play of light and shadow when struck by the sun that enhance the general appearance. This particular attention to detail draws from examples of classic car design.

Today, comfort and livability on board are preferred to ostentation, but without limiting the Owner’s ability to appreciate and research a sporty, dynamic style.
The Shipyard requested to remain within the 500 GT limit, thus the volumes were studied in consequence.
