Tankoa 55m Sportiva M/Y LOEWE Wins Outstanding Exterior Design Award at the 2026 Design & Innovation Awards

LUCA DINI Design & Architecture announced that the 55m Tankoa Sportiva superyacht M/Y LOEWE won Outstanding Exterior Design (50m–69.9m) at the 2026 Design & Innovation Awards by Boat International, held on 1 February 2026 in Kitzbühel, Austria.

Designed in collaboration with Tankoa Yachts, M/Y LOEWE was recognized for her bold, sporty profile, sculpted volumes, and refined balance between aesthetics, performance, and onboard livability. Remaining under 500 GT, the yacht offers comfort and volume typically found on much larger vessels, reflecting an efficient and forward-thinking design.

Key exterior features include an innovative, assertive bow design, a unique forward social area ahead of the wheelhouse, and a forward-located owner’s suite with direct access to a private sundeck—an uncommon level of privacy for yachts of this size.

The project represents a new evolution of Tankoa’s design vision, translating automotive-inspired dynamism into a sophisticated superyacht while maintaining strong continuity between interior and exterior spaces. Both Luca Dini and Tankoa CEO Vincenzo Poerio highlighted the award as a result of close collaboration, innovation, and a shared commitment to distinctive, high-quality design.
